In exploring sites and spaces of experimentation, archives and platforms for further cultural production, we are also creating and critically engaging with experimental systems and their structures. In addition to the theoretical reading of complex experimental systems, we have a formal interest in the aesthetics and material culture of research space. As a collective practice, we also require space in which to work and disseminate our work. This has led us to develop a number of structural approaches that allow us to occupy a range of sites in different contexts. We have therefore developed different platforms to suit specific event-fields, or spatial framing depending on environment, climate, costs, regulations, access and budgets . Many of these structures are re-used between projects thereby de-priveliging their status as art objects, and highlighting their status as dynamic research forms.
